the scariest part of the hoochie was the anticipation of waiting for the show to start, as this was my first time ever going. once i entered however, i wasn't scared shitless as i thought i would be. the dressed up people who would jump out at you and touch you and stuff only startled me a few times. The torture scenes such as the power drill butt-rape and the live demon-birth were more amusing than anything (i'm not easily grossed out, and the only disturbing thing about those scenes were the grossout factor). Anyway, once i had exited the hoochie, i entered bad trip in 3D.i honestly was not even scared of that at all, the 3D walls and clown statues were just cool looking, so besides a few clowns bursting out of the walls, i didn't even flinch once. I left dead acres disappointed, i ad expected it to be fear incarnate. Maybe i just have huge balls, or maybe dead acres is just not what it is supposed to live up to be. I'm hoping for the former.

Sorry we didnt live up to whatever your high expectations were. Maybe next time let us know your coming and we can pull you in the back and beat the shit out of you. Im sure that would put the fear in you. I'm surprised by some reactions. We do everything possible to violate the senses and scar teh mind short of actually cutting you open to see what your insides look like. Instead we do that to each other so you can just watch, and be able to go home in one piece. The people that say they are not scared are the same ones that wanna scream lawsuit as soon as you tap then on the shoulder. I suggest you change your name to impossible expectations, rather than the former gigantic balls.

lol well me and a couple of my friends are gonna come try you guys out.. we are from michigan. we just got back from new orleans we went to 13th gate which was the most amazing haunted house we have ever been to. We also visited house of shock which the show was awesome but once they herded the entire line of people through the attraction it was totally shit.. i actually felt like i was robbed.. its not fun if you see everything happen before you get to it because there is no space between groups.. anyways.. enough babbling we love haunted houses and we will be comin to check you out. Ill post what i think after we come. cya

I thought it was great! The make up,decor, and acting were hollywood worthy. I am a sick individual that grew up loving horror flicks. One thing that would make it better. I feel that it is too dark inside. You are not able to see the creeps very well. I think it would be even scarier if the lighting was just good enough to see the actors better.

I find this very amusing. I think someone is a trifle ass-hurt.
Why would this person's expectations NOT be high? After all, it is the Hoochie that makes a point of boasting about how terrifying it is. So, you didn't make this guy piss or shit. No need to snarky and show your e-balls by offering to beat him up.
I've been to the Hoochie. It's okay. But I didn't vomit or cry. Guess I have way-high expectations and you had an epic fail.

The product may be top notch & have unlimited potential but it's packaging & those promoting it need a major over haul. Too many individuals out to make a name for themselves via Haunted Hoochie & Ghost in the Flesh's response is a prime example. From the ticket booth associates to the social sites, it's time to clean-up & get back to art of haunting.

Theres always gonna be hits & misses, people that piss, people that piss but LIE about it & those who piss before they go through so they don't piss! Like any attraction there's going to be a critic or two that have balls of steel yet hide behind the people in front of them & keep their eyes shut the ENTIRE time and at the end they can say, "I wasn't scared." It's obvious that those who call the Hoochie home put their souls into what they do so getting alittle stiff upper lip is nothin but pride. Stoked for the gate's of hell open Sept. 22 & see what's unleashed this year!! HOOCH 2011, HELL YEAH!

I'm not insinuating that there aren't those who take pride in what they do but there are those who clearly exhibit reckless behavior during hours of operation & through social media. IIRC, there was a media report about someone who claimed they had been assaulted at DA last year. Even if the charge was unfounded or false, why would an employee offer to take anyone out back or front for that matter & beat their ass?
This entire message board is loaded with posts & comments by employee's that put into question the integrity of the business. For example, another employee posted "a little hoochie to help a limp dick." That's extreme alright, extreme lack of professionalism, class & decency. It might be hitting a target audience but it's beginning to turn away an entire demographic.
It's going to gain attention sooner or later by community awareness/action groups or leaders if it continues without regard for it's reputation. Just sayin'

You do realize this is a haunted house and what diabolical deeds are simulated within? Triple B, have you even been to the HOOCHIE? If not, may I suggest it, I hear its AMAZING!!!
In regards to my post in question, that was my attempt at humor, misguided as you think it may be, it still is only that, humor. In no dimension our reality would we ever assault a customer, if even by their own request. It just wouldnt happen, that's a fact. It is the second time actually I have used such a line of ironic humor, to convey that if we did anything more to pull your panic strings, we would be all kinds of arrested. And in that's post the customer did actually reply, and got the joke and loved it, he even played along saying "hell yeah that would be great!" <that its just how our fans are.
If I always just replied with, "sorry to hear you weren't scared sir, hopefully we do better, next time." It would be boring, and I would be doing a diservice to our customers. I am here to infect you with entertainment after all, and my song and dance shows no mercy. Boo
I try to keep it fun, funny, entertaining on here, and if that offends anyone, I will offer an explanation, and if that does not suffice, then my sincere apology. What I won't apologize for is working hard to give our fans what they love and expect from us. Inside, outside the haunt, or anything, media or not that carries the haunted hoochie brand.
Some people do try to make a name for themselves, but we don't have too, as that bridge was crossed many moons ago. Our name is cemented and shackled in the history and eyes of the industry already. Our job now is to remain worthy of our name and loyal to our fans. When shit gets real, and a true issue arises, lets drop the masks and give it the most professional, thorough, and courteous attention as possible, but until then, I'm a evil monster with attitude who just happens to use computers through and through.
In closing, it was a joke lighten up. Not everyone its gonna be scared, especially if they enter with that attitude already. Stay Brutal!
