I would have to drive 2-1/4 hours to go to your Haunted Hoochie, and I rarely get scared. In fact, I laugh at most Haunted Houses actors! If they can't touch me, I don't get scared as I know they can't harm me.
The only thing I would get a kick out of is watching people get scared, but as for myself, not much scares me. I laugh in the face of harmless evilness. The only things that partially scare me would be a moving floor or the chainsaw, but besides those, not much else does.
So, are the actors allowed to grab the paying public? Visual gore doesn't scare me, but physical would though. If anything I would be more scared to drive in Columbus in the dark.
How much is your Hoochie? Is it really worth the drive and money? I live about an hour from Pittsburgh, PA, just to give you a visualization.

Well 1408, excellent movie you made by the way, to answer your question as best I can. In the process of our extreme style scares contact can and does happen. If someone can't handle this, they shouldn't come to our haunt. Now if your asking are we going to throw you down and kick the shit out of you, while shoving a chainsaw up your ass. I'm thinking no. Although you could wear a shirt that says, "I'm Tickin for an Ass Kickin!" For some reason I'm thinking over the course of the evening, that might actually work. We have everything you need for a killer night of frights. I'm sure even someone with nerves of steel like you, that laughs in the face of Satan himself, will have their heart skip some beats. So is it worth the drive and the money? Hell YES!! Where else can you get these intense scares at these bargain prices? How much you ask? Is it 30? No. How about 20? We don't think so. You get all the visual and physical gore we have to offer for the rock bottom price, OF JUST 15 DOLLARS!!!! I had a group drive in from PA last weekend and they just had a wicked good time. They said it was well worth the drive. So leave now and get here super fast! We'll be waiting.

Now that's service, a reply within 2 hours! Thanks for the info. I didn't create the movie, just the most recent horror movie I've seen. It was supposed to be scary, but the last 3 minutes brought tears to my eyes (being sad, not from hysterical laughing). I'm still skeptical that you can scare me. Is this an outdoor, indoor, or combination of both type of Hoochie? An outdoor one could be slightly scary, as there's more space in the air for things to jump out. How long will I be in the Hoochie? As for the T-shirt, if you supply it, I'll wear it! I'd drive the 2-1/4 hours just for the killer T-shirt! To earn the T-shirt, the Hoochie could have a special No-Holds-Barred scare just for me and my companion. Of course, she gets scared easily, but the focus should be on scaring me! Here's a compromise: since it's your T-shirt, you could get it as messy as you want (use all the fake blood you can find). I can wear old jeans that I don't mind getting messy as well. In response to Badass: Now that "Hmmm" scares me, haha. just kiddin'

Service with a scowl, thats our motto. The Haunted Hoochie is an indoor/outdoor atraction. So you get the best of both underworlds. Your journey through this evil machine of ours will take you anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes. It all depends on the quickness in which you move. As for the T-shirts your speaking of, I don't have any. But, hmmm, now that you mention it we should. We could make a fortune! Everyone loves a good ass kickin. So get here with a quickness. We know we Rock, so its about time you did too. You know you want to. I have sparked your curiousity into a blazing inferno. See you soon! Still not convinced? Then take our tour of Torture!! deadacres.proboards62.com/index.cgi?board=intense&action=display&thread=1187181847

The drive is WELL worth it, I went last year and of course I went again as well this year, I drove a little over 2 hours to get there and I WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR. I took my 30 year old friend with me and she actually pissed herself, we had to stop at walmart for her to buy a new pair of jeans, because she wasnt comming all the way home like that, too far. But the hooch is WELL worth every dime and EVERY mile to see it.

Thanks for all the input! I'm still on the fence, but a lot of good reviews is a lot going for ya there! Like the last poster, I am from WV as well, but close to Wheeling, though.
I am a 32-year-old male. Maybe it's the testosterone that makes me not scared of Haunted Houses, but who knows. I've been to about 10 different places in the past 4 years, and only one scared me. . .with the foam floor that was not on level ground. I've even been to the (currently uninhabited) "Haunted Penitentiary" in my town, and it's not scary at all to me, even locked up for like 3 minutes in a small jail cell.
That's why I keep insisting on amped up scaring for me. I don't scare that easily, and I want to get my money's worth. Not to mention all the gas money to get there too, lol. I have a week's vacation coming soon, I hope. If all works out, I'll do my best to be there this year.

Lets just put it this way... I work at the Hooch and last night I took a trip thru with my fiance. I dont get scared, know where pretty much everything is and I jumped a shitload of times. Everyone was on key and putting on one hell of a performance. This is the best I have ever seen the Hooch. This year is goin to kick ass... See you there....

Will they knock you down?? I wouldn't expect a KO from one of the monsters, but I would expect to be scared out of my mind!!! Beware young haunted house fan you are never the same once you cross through our doors. It changes you.
If you scare easily that is all the more reason to come. People who scare easily are the most fun...I mean have the most fun.
Some contact does occur between monster and patron though, anyone that is going throw a fit over thier shoulder being touched should stay at home.
