I finally braved the 6 hour round trip to visit Dead Acres on Friday night. We arrived at about 10:45 and there was about a 30 minute wait.
Once inside the whole place was filled with non-stop startles, impressive animatronics, and some of the coolest costumes and make-up I've seen, not to mention the most agressive actors I've ever encountered. So all in all, it was a great trip and worth the drive.
However, I do have to admit there were a few dampers on the evening. We had a group of 5, and we were sent through with another group of 5. I think groups should be no more than 8, and even 8 is pushing it in my opinion. Within a few minutes we had already caught the group in front of us. Shortly thereafter, the group behind us had caught up as well. By the time we made it to the room with the final scene, there was a good 50 people crammed in there.
I can understand needing to get people through quickly, but the line was only 30 minutes. Reducing the number in groups and pushing people through at a less frequent pace would have created a more enjoyable experience for me at least.
All in all, I had a great time and was really impressed with everything inside the attraction. I'm hoping to make it back this season with a few more of my friends who had to back out at the last minute.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks man, for coming out an making the trip. Your positive feedback and critisims are appreciated. Groups do bunch together, due to the popularity of our attraction, and our wicked dark maze that just totally loses people and tear groups of friends to shreds. Though the last scene you speak of, which is mine by the way (hope you liked), the bunch up is intentional, because I love getting insane in front of as many people as posible, the energy that a large group gives off I think makes the whole experience more enjoyable for all. thanks again for the comments and we hope to see you and all your friends again real soon
